Nighthawk is the nickname given to Andrew's cousin. He is the first of the Blanchard family that is not a red-faced-fuck, nor is an unsuccessful gas station attendant, like his cousin. Nighthawk has an alter ego as a super hero, and aims to protect humanity from the Beacon of Red Light. He is pretty badass.
